Clinton Howell, founder and Owner of H2 Systems Inc., indicates that this contest is already creating a huge buzz in Ontario.

Chill Magazine is widely read,” says Howell. “This time of the year is especially unique because this is when all the sports games are happening – the World Series is on, and now the NFL, NBA and NHL seasons are in full swing.”

In 2003, Chill publishing manager Scotty Stevenson seized the opportunity by creating an all-encompassing Canadian men’s magazine shortly after Sport’s Illustrated became available in Canada.

“Most men are more than their stereotype of sports, women, and nights out on the town.  I have always had a passion for publishing and, ten years ago, my vision was to create a Reader’s Digest for Men.” states Stevenson “Chill has a variety of topics that appeal to men after 5 and on weekends.  With topics like entertainment, recipe, style, and weekend warriors (a section about guy’s passions), our magazine appeals to every man in Canada.

Chill’s 10th anniversary contest will run for two months where Stevenson will be busy promoting and advertising their accomplishment through media venues sports radio, Fan 590 and on their various social media platforms.

What does Scott want to do after the winner has been announced?  “I am hoping to Chill and that’s the truth.”

This month’s issue features a cover story on Don Cherry and Coaches Corner. Chill Magazine is never hard to find as it’s always near the check-out counter at the Beer Store. You can also enter the contest online at: http://www.chillmedia.com and check out our article, The Ultimate Basement Stadium in Chill online or in print.

No matter how great the food and craft vendors, every music enthusiast evaluates the success of these festivals based on the sound quality. Most would agree that there is nothing worse than attending a music festival only to be pillaged with too much bass, clarity issues, or consistent interruptions. The importance of sound quality is no different with a custom home theatre or media room. When enthusiasts retire to enjoy a movie or listen to music, they anticipate the best in sound from their investment.
